“Teaching Tools for Educators” is a new initiative of the ICEA Scholarship program. The new “Teaching Tools” initiative will subsidize the cost of basic teaching tools for ICEA educators. Donate now.
Selected out of over 150 organizations and based on strict criteria, ICEA’s Certified Birth Doula program was recognized as one of five certifying programs for birth doulas desiring to become TRICARE-authorized providers.

ICEA recertification will now require 4 hours of education/training in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity. This requirement will begin on January 1, 2022.

During this time, we have also granted permission for our ICEA Approved Trainers (IATs) to offer workshops online. Again, this is only for a limited period of time, but we felt it was necessary in this current crisis.
The ICEA Board of Directors understands the challenges we are facing with recertification criteria during this pandemic. If your certification expires before September 30, 2020, and are concerned with your ability to complete the requirements, please contact our office at info@icea.org and we will work with you on alternatives.
