ICEA advocates for birthing families in many impactful ways.

This happens through "signing on" for legislation that impacts to-be parents, current parents, babies and health initiatives. When appropriate, the ICEA board will send out a written position on a particular issue (email, blog, press release) or create a resource like our "What is a Doula?"

Additionally, the ICEA board maintains a library of ICEA's Position Papers, based on current and evidence-based information.
