ICEA recertification will now require 4 hours of education/training in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity. This requirement will begin on January 1, 2022. We will be providing opportunities through ICEA approved CE’s that will be announced as they become available. Other sources of education must be preapproved to be counted. If you have any questions, please contact our Certifications Coordinator at info@icea.org. If you would like to go ahead and get started, Think Cultural Health just released a program titled Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) in Maternal Health Care. According to their website, “This free, 2-hour e-learning program is designed for providers and students seeking knowledge and skills related to cultural competency, cultural humility, person-centered care, and combating implicit bias across the continuum of maternal health care.”
