9:10-10:10am Raising the Standard for Breastfeeding Support

Patricia is a registered nurse, an IBCLC, an ICEA certified childbirth educator, a wife, and a mother of four grown sons. She has been teaching childbirth education classes for 30 years and has worked in the roles of birth doula, pediatric nurse and post-partum nurse. Currently, she is employed by a major health care system in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania working as a lactation consultant.

She has served on the Mid Atlantic Mothers’ Milk Bank board of directors and the ICEA board of directors. She loves hearing birth stories and helping women to achieve their breastfeeding goals.

Patricia has been a speaker at the NYSBC virtual conference in 2025, the Bronx Breastfeeding Convening in 2025, and the ICEA Conference in 2024. She also has many years of experience as an educator, both in person and virtually.
