From Bump to Baby: How Birth Professionals Can Protect and Restore the Infant Microbiome

Danielle is a Certified Nutrition SpecialistⓇ and Licensed Dietician-Nutritionist with over 14 years of experience in functional nutrition, clinical education, and consulting. She holds a master’s degree in nutrition and Integrative Health and specializes in perinatal, infant, and early childhood microbiome health, with expertise in digestive concerns, eczema, food allergies, immune resilience, and women’s health.

Since 2012, Danielle has supported women and families through her private functional nutrition practice, applying a personalized, root-cause approach that integrates therapeutic foods, targeted nutrients, herbs, and lifestyle medicine. She is co-author of 52 Small Changes for the Family, a book to support creating a foundation of health and happiness for the family.

Danielle has been with Tiny Health for over three years and serves as Customer Success Team Lead, where she leads the microbiome specialist customer-facing team, mentor’s practitioners, develops educational resources, and helps translate complex microbiome science into practical clinical strategies. She is also a co-author on Tiny Health’s recently published randomized controlled trial evaluating a personalized microbiome-based program for infants born via C-section, contributing to evidence that microbiome-targeted interventions can shift gut microbiome composition and may reduce the risk of atopic conditions in early life.
