11:00-12:00 PM Miriam McKinney & Amy Nevland Push Past the Basics: Elevating Childbirth Classes with Tech & AI

Miriam is an ICEA certified childbirth educator who lives and works in Central Texas. Miriam enjoys educating to-be parents on what to expect during pregnancy, labor, delivery and postpartum. At St. David’s Hospitals she teaches as well as gives informative hospital tours each month.

Miriam served on the ICEA Board of Directors from 2019 through 2024 as Treasurer and Conference Chair. She currently serves on the Scholarship and Conference Committees.

Additionally, Miriam is a Senior Systems and Data Analyst for the University of Texas. She analyzes health data and, along with her team, helps to administer insurance benefits to nearly 300,000 Texans. Outside of work, Miriam loves being with her family and taking in a good movie.
