Alison Bishop is a parenting educator, speaker, and advocate dedicated to helping families navigate the transition to parenthood with confidence and support. As the mother of four children, Alison brings both personal insight and professional experience to her work with expectant and new parents. She is the founder and inaugural facilitator of Boot Camp for New Moms, a unique program designed to prepare mothers for the realities of early parenting through practical education, encouragement, and community connection.

In addition to her work with mothers, Alison serves as the Director of Boot Camp for New Dads, an acclaimed fatherhood preparation program that helps men build confidence and skills as they enter parenthood. She is also the President of Dads Adventure, the organization that provides funding, leadership, and administrative support for both Boot Camp for New Dads and Boot Camp for New Moms, expanding access to parent education and support programs for families nationwide.

A passionate advocate for strengthening families, Alison has dedicated her career to creating resources and programs that empower parents during one of life’s most significant transitions. Her leadership and innovative approach have earned national recognition, including Boot Camp for New Moms being awarded the Grand Prize in the prestigious TED + Clinique Next Smart Idea for Women competition.
