Thank you to everyone who applied for an ICEA scholarship during the most recent application period. We received so many incredible applications and are encouraged by your dedication to improving birth outcomes for all families.
Our certification programs provide you with the information and skills you need to make a difference in the lives of pregnant women and their families. Those who are in financial need are encouraged to turn your passion into a career by applying for a scholarship.
It is with great honor and privilege that I have been able to play a small part in mentoring my friend and colleague, Chen, to have met all of the requirements to become the first ICEA Approved Trainer in China.
During this time, we have also granted permission for our ICEA Approved Trainers (IATs) to offer workshops online. Again, this is only for a limited period of time, but we felt it was necessary in this current crisis.
The ICEA Board of Directors understands the challenges we are facing with recertification criteria during this pandemic. If your certification expires before September 30, 2020, and are concerned with your ability to complete the requirements, please contact our office at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will work with you on alternatives.
Our talented IATs have a full schedule planned for May 2020 and we hope you can join them virtually.
Did you know you can read ICEA Position Papers and pass the correlating Post Test to receive one ICEA CEU? Each post test may be purchased for US $26.
Our talented IATs have a full schedule planned for April 2020 and we hope you can join them virtually.
Our talented IATs have a full schedule planned for March 2020 and we hope you can join them.
You are making a difference. Your work as Childbirth Educators, Birth Doulas, and Postpartum Doulas is changing the world and improving birth outcomes for all families. Thank you.
The International Childbirth Education Association (ICEA) is a professional organization that supports educators and health care professionals who believe in freedom to make decisions based on knowledge of alternatives in family-centered maternity and newborn care.
