Brittany Sharpe McCollum is the owner of Blossoming Bellies Wholistic Birth Services based out of Philadelphia, PA, USA, which provides childbirth education classes, birth doula services, and dynamic labor support and pelvic biomechanics training workshops for birth professionals and expectant parents. She has been offering birth-related services since 2007 and continues to work towards change in the maternity care system by providing expectant parents with the tools to be actively involved in their care and through her work facilitating evidence based fetal positioning and pelvic dynamics workshops and webinars to clinical and non-clinical care providers.

Vonda Gates RN, IAT, ICCE, ICBD

Vonda Gates has been a certified childbirth educator with ICEA since 1991. Vonda was one of the first 20 DONA certified birth doulas and has maintained that certification with ICEA for over 20 years. For many of her early career years, Thursday evening was spent at the local hospital teaching a childbirth class.

Currently, Vonda enjoys the talented program candidates she meets as an approved trainer for the ICEA Childbirth Educator and Birth Doula approved workshops. In 2015, Vonda received the first Outstanding ICEA Approved Trainer Award.

Vonda facilitates a childbirth class in her local Georgia classroom and online Zoom classes with expecting parents around the globe.

Dena is an accomplished and passionate educator with 28 years’ experience preparing expectant parents of all backgrounds for the rigors of labor and childbirth with confidence and positive expectancy.

Dena is a Birth Doula, Pre-natal Yoga Instructor, Professional Trainer of both Childbirth Educators and Birth Doulas through ICEA. Dena authored The MotherSource Pregnancy Resource Directory, “Joy and Sleepfilled Nights” a promotional brochure for Schwarz Pharma, and was a contributing author for the 2000, 2001, 2002, 2012 editions of Expectant Mothers Guide.
