To support our military families and military service personal, the ICEA takes pride in offering the Military Mothers Initiative.
The Military Mothers Initiative is a scholarship program to increase the access of childbirth education to military families on or near bases by providing scholarships to those who are active duty or retired military/spouses of active duty or retired to become childbirth educators. Plus this gives to the military family/spouse a portable & sustainable career regardless of PCS (permanent change of station).
For those seeking professional status with ICEA, this initiative includes:
- Reduction in Conference fees for active duty, retired, and dependent personal.
- Waived fees for ICEA Program certification enrollment and examination (a $350 value).
- Encourage ICEA approved trainers to support those wishing to attend workshops.
The number of awards given each year will be based on the amount of funds available. Deadline dates for applications are December 1 and June 1 each year. Recipients will be notified within 30 days. Each individual may only receive one award per year.
At this time there are no Scholarships available for online Certification Programs or Training Workshops.
